Building Community
One of the best ways to build a school community is to encourage play and interactions across classes. While our friends often play together outside, we rarely get to spend time with each other inside! The Nursery B class thought that inviting Pre-K to give them a tour of the Art Studio and to pass along any Art Studio promises would be the perfect way for them to get acquainted with the space. The Pre-K class shared advice and promises, as well as demonstrated how to clean up after yourself and how to use scissors safely.
“You have to sit in these chairs with your feet and knees under the table. They can be swivly and tricky.”

“Only cut paper! Not people, the table, or your hair.”
-Pre-K Student
“Can you read this book with me?”
